Since her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away, the Princess Royal has continued to show her allegiance to the Firm, and King Charles III is being asked to give the “devoted” Anne a special honour.

The only child of the Queen has taken on a prominent role in all memorial services for her mother. She agreed to travel with the late monarch’s casket as it made its final leg from Balmoral to London.

According to a recent survey by readers of Express.co.uk, Princess Anne deserves to be given a special honour.

The only female member of the Royal Family to participate in a procession, Anne even created history by standing in vigil with her brothers.

According to journalist Alastair Stewart, Anne and her sister-in-law Sophie Wessex deserve recognition for their “love, constancy and support at this difficult time”.

“I hope the King finds some very special way of further honouring the Princess Royal and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, for their love, constancy and support at this difficult time,” the GB News host tweeted.
