Meghan Markle reveals her embarrassing high school nickname
In the most recent episode of her Archetype podcast, Meghan Markle paid a visit to her old high school.
The Duchess of Sussex spoke with recent Immaculate Heart High School graduates from Los Angeles about the labels teenagers still receive.
She emphasised the similarities between their generation and the most recent grads, according to Daily Express.
Meghan highlighted that some of the stereotypes, such as “bitch” and “bossy,” that she discovered harmed her while she was growing up and were still causing problems with perception and self-awareness among teenagers.
She stated: “I wanted to explore these labels and boxes are part of the self-identification for the young women there.”
Her detractors were quick to point out that she enjoyed appealing to the stereotype of the Catholic schoolgirl as soon as the most recent edition of the podcast was made available.
They made mention of a Craig Ferguson interview she had. Meghan Markle admitted to the host of the old interview that she had been called “Meg, Nutmeg” at her school.
In the interview, the former actress seemed to imply that she found it amusing and flirtatious to joke about being a little insane.
The Duchess of Sussex came under fire for moaning in her podcast about being labelled weird and nutty.
