Prince Albert II delivers an exclusive answer when questioned about gifts for Princess Charlene and their twin 8-year-olds.

Prince said she’s notorious for late-night shopping. “Okay, I haven’t shopped. The last several weeks have been busy. Travel has been heavy, and I have meetings and appointments on Friday afternoon.”

But he’s organised. Children, “will get different toys and games. Unremarkable. Games and characters change often.” “Jacques had a long Super Mario phase, but we’re moving on,” he says.

He told his wife Charlene, “I’ve thought about it, but not yet.” Shortly after, he says, “It’s useful.” Prince Albert chuckles when his final two sentences are repeated in shock. “She wanted it,” he asserted in justification.

“and maybe this won’t be the only present I give her, okay?” He keeps going. “When you asked, I was thinking about that one, but this year there could be two different gifts.”

As for where the family will spend the holidays, they have two plans: He says, “Christmas will be here in Monaco, and then we’ll take a week off with the family to celebrate the New Year somewhere else.” When asked if they planned to go somewhere warm or cold, he smiled.Albert says, “Warm and cold.” “I’m sorry I can’t tell you more, but if you want a recap of what happened, I’ll do it in January if you want.”

Last week, Prince Albert and his family took part in an annual holiday tradition: the children’s Christmas party at the palace, where each child from the principality gets a “bespoke” gift from a member of the ruling family.
The American actress Grace Kelly, who won an Oscar and became Princess Grace when she married Prince Rainier III in 1956, started the tradition in the 1960s.
