Taliban Official responds to Prince Harry’s remarks
Taliban leader slammed Prince Harry for admitting he killed 25 people. Harry...
When Prince Harry talked of killing Taliban in Afghanistan, the British media referred to him as a “hero prince.”
However, he is receiving criticism from the same media for bringing up the killings once more.
The Duke of Sussex is mocked by pro-monarchy specialists and the tabloid press for “repeating the same story.”
Harry’s defenders claim that the reason he is receiving criticism right now is because he retired from being a working royal.
Omid Scobie, the biographer of Harry and Meghan, brought up the issue while releasing some excerpts from the prince’s leaked book.
Tiny fragments being reported “don’t do the text justice,” he claimed in defence of Harry.
Alex Beresford, a television host, wrote: “How important is context to you? Genuinely want to know if reading the full excerpt on Prince Harry’s time in Afghanistan changes your opinion?”
Both men used two pages from Prince Harry’s book to defend their points on why he included references to the Taliban’s execution in his writing.
