Archie and Lilibet, the children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, might be granted roles in King Charles’ Coronation provided their parents confirm their attendance.
Palace aides are awaiting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s answer to the invitation, adding that if Harry and Meghan confirm their attendance, they may begin conversations about what roles the children may play.
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, will be part of the King’s procession out of Westminster Abbey following the ceremony, it was revealed on Saturday.
It was widely believed that Archie, who will be four on the big day, and Lilibet, who will be one, had not been invited. But, a royal insider recently stated that the palace is waiting to hear from the Sussexes before discussing the King’s two youngest grandkids.
According to rehearsal materials seen by The Times, the Prince of Wales’ children will accompany their parents as the Royal party exits the Abbey.
