Harry and Meghan were unaware Prince Andrew will move into Frogmore

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not informed that their Frogmore Cottage would be transferred to Prince Andrew.

The day after Prince Harry’s controversial memoir, Spare, hit the shelves, King Charles reportedly started the process of expelling the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

On March 1, 2023, The Sussexes received word of their eviction through their representatives; nevertheless, they were unaware that they were leaving their Windsor residence for Prince Andrew.

The Sussexes “weren’t told,” according to The Telegraph, that their cherished home was being given to them, and this revelation will only exacerbate what have already been “tough” conversations.

The duke reportedly spent $3 million on his own to refurbish the couple’s five-bedroom Georgian to their preferences. Despite the fact that they had “made that place their home,” a friend acknowledged that the choice had not been well received by the couple.

Although they have not yet said if they would attend the ceremony on May 6, 2023, the ex-royals have been granted until soon after the Coronation to leave their Windsor residence.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went to Southern California after leaving their positions as senior working royals, where they have resided for almost three years. They still owned the Frogmore Cottage, which they had received as a wedding gift from the late queen, despite having moved to the United States.

At the moment, Andrew resides in Royal Lodge, a home on the Windsor Great Park property that was once home to the Queen Mother. The person who spoke to The Sun further stated, “Andrew is rejecting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But, it demonstrates that Harry and Meghan are helpless to halt the eviction.
