According to royal sources, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla would prefer to keep their London residence at Clarence House.

The news comes only days after the King ordered Harry to leave his London property, Frogmore Cottage.

The monarch is said to desire Prince Andrew to move to Frogmore Cottage, which the Duke of York is unlikely to agree.

The monarch has ruled out any dramatic slimming down of the Crown’s massive property empire as he works to make Buckingham Palace a residence appropriate for a King.

According to the magazine, the King will move in “above the shop” once a £369 million renovation, including an update to his residences, is done in four years.
