King Charles III has been warned not to give in to his son Prince Harry‘s coronation demands because it could harm his reputation among royal supporters.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced new criticism for their request to stand on Buckingham Palace‘s balcony during King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla‘s coronation.
Former Brexiteer Nigel Farage chimed in, adding that “King Charles absolutely must not give in” to Harry and Meghan’s coronation demands.
It is worth noting that the Sussexes are allegedly seeking reassurance on a number of issues, including how prominent a role they would play and whether their son Prince Archie’s birthday will be celebrated during the weekend.
Farage slammed the Sussexes on the media, saying they are “not entitled” to be on that balcony, adding: “The balcony is for royals, who yes, take some money from the public purse, but in return, do vast amounts of work for charities, carrying out royal functions, opening new schools, and doing all the things our royals have done and done very well.”
Due to “tense negotiations” going on behind the scenes, Meghan and Harry have not made a decision regarding their attendance at the coronation, according to Royal Editor Sarah Hewson.
