Archie and Lilibet, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, have been given new titles on the royal family’s website.

Originally known as Master Archie and Miss Lilibet, Meghan and Harry’s children are now recognised as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex, according to the website’s Succession page.

The royal children were formerly identified as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor. King George V, Queen Elizabeth’s grandfather, established the regulations controlling royal children’s titles in 1917.

The latest development comes after Princess Lilibet Diana was baptised in a quiet ceremony in Montecito by the Rev John Taylor, Archbishop of Los Angeles.

But, it is unclear if Harry and Meghan would attend the coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort.
