Meera, a renowned Pakistani actress in both film and television, has been a prominent figure in the industry since the 1990s. Her notable films include “Ehsaas,” “Khilona,” “Kanta,” “Chief Saab,” “Mujhe Jeene Do,” “Miss Istanbul,” and “Baaji.” She has also showcased her talent in TV One’s drama “Main Sitara.” Fans appreciate Meera for her exceptional acting skills and confidence. Recently, Meera made a special appearance on a show hosted by Vasay Chaudhary. During the show, she discussed the differences in behavior between old and new actors. She also shared insights into why she chooses to take on selective work.
Talking about the difference in behavior of between new actor’s VS actors of her time, Meera said, “Previously, artists were more courteous. They were cultured, and they knew the work ethic. They had etiquette, they knew how to behave, and how to sit, they had mannerisms, the actors were more friendly and approachable, and they were not angry. Now, we are technically strong but I miss the mannerisms now.
While discussing about selective work, Meera said, “I do selective work, that’s why I have been offered Umra o Jaan Adda. You have to wait for your turn; patience is necessary to get a good project.
