Nida Yasir reveals heartbreaking story of missing her mother funeral

Nida Yasir, the most successful morning show host in Pakistan, is also an actress, and producer, and gradually delving into designing. With time, she has improved and groomed herself, displaying great confidence. A family woman, she frequently speaks fondly about her family and children. Not too long ago, Nida lost her mother, with whom she shared a close bond.

As a guest on the Footprints podcast, Nida discussed her travel stories and opened up about losing her mom, revealing how she was not able to reach the funeral.

Nida revealed that “her mother was on dialysis and she was not well for some time. So, when Covid ended, Nida took her kids for a vacation in the Maldives. Suddenly, she got a call from her sisters to get back as their mother for the first time was shifted to a ventilator.”

She also added that “Her mom passed away and she could not travel due to Covid restrictions. Nida sat in the hotel room alone and saw all the funeral rites as she could not arrive in time. The same situation happened when her mother-in-law passed away as they were in Norway then. Nida shared that her son Balaj got traumatized after all this and thought that they lost an elder whenever they were traveling.”

He requested his mom to take his grandpa with her in a suitcase whenever they go on vacation.
