Reflecting on this period, he stated, “When the first Ramadan came after his success, our show was scheduled in Dubai. We all thought that Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain would stay in a five-star hotel while we would be accommodated in a more modest place. However, he didn’t do that and said, ‘There will be no VIP treatment; I will be staying with my kids.’ And for seventeen years, he honored his commitment. During Ramadan, he would join us outside after the show, purchase expensive clothing for us, and treat us to dinners. He covered all the expenses himself, never utilizing funds from the producers’ budget already allocated by the channel.

According to a news article by Jaffar Rizvi for BBC, Aamir Liaquat reportedly attempted suicide before he became a famous anchor. He consumed a large quantity of medicines while he was in a state of depression due to a family issue. However, timely treatment saved him. The producer stated, “We spent seventeen years with him but we never felt that he could be the one suffering from anxiety or depression.” Waseem Badami mentioned that Dr. Aamir Liaquat was hands down the most talented person and expressed this sentiment multiple times in his life as well.
