Sadia Imam’s encouraging perspective on motherhood

Sadia Imam, a renowned name in Pakistani entertainment, dominated the drama industry in the early 2000s, with her shows leading in viewership. Known for her down-to-earth personality, she has sustained her stardom over the years. Nowadays, Sadia Imam is frequently seen in live shows and has also hosted her morning shows and live transmissions. She has been absent from dramas for some time now and recently shared her reasons for it.

Sadia appeared as a guest where she shared her reasons for no longer appearing in dramas. She said that “motherhood is what changed her priorities. She cannot make time for dramas now and her whole concentration and focus is always towards her daughter as she does not want her to complain when she grows up that her mother did not give her proper time.”

She also got emotional sharing the reason behind naming her daughter Meerab. She revealed that “she is spiritually close to Hazrat Abbas Ghazi RA and she thought she would name her child after him if he was a boy and since she had a daughter, she named her Meerab.”

Sadia Imam also addressed the responsibilities of a parent. She stated that while she does not possess a Master’s or Ph.D. degree, she has her manners, and as a parent, she has endeavored to teach her daughter and impart her knowledge of good behavior to her.
