The government of UK has added the name of English leg-spinner Adil Rashid in the list of deliberate tax defaulters.
According to the details, cricketer Adil owing to defaulting on over £100,000 in tax from April 6, 2013 to April 5, 2017.
Rashid Ali said that his “tax is up to date now.”
Rashid also said, “I was shocked when I found out, but it was a simple mistake – there is nothing else to it.”
Rashid belongs to the Mirpuri community of Pakistan and he was born in Bradford.
PCB to hear Umar Akmal case on April 27
Earlier on yesterday, A disciplinary panel of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sets the hearing date of Umar Akmal case on April 27.
According to the details, the chairman of the disciplinary panel Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan on Monday issued notices to batsman Umar Akmal and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
PCB’s press release read, “The hearing is presently scheduled at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore. Safety precautions and social distancing measures will be strictly enforced in order to safeguard all those involved”
