“Mohammad Amir’s early decision will hurt Pakistan”, Says Abdul Razzaq
Veteran all-rounder Abdul Razzaq said that left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir’s retirement from international cricket is a major hindrance for Pakistan.
Razzaq while talking to the media in Lahore he said,
“He [Amir] is an extremely talented bowler and you could see glimpses of Wasim Akram in him,” Razzaq was quoted as saying. “It would have been great for Pakistan if he had consistently played and performed for Pakistan.
The legendary former fast bowler added that Amir’s early decision will hurt his future, as well. “Players who give importance to T20s over Test cricket will never go on to become great players.”
Amir announced his retirement last year December 2020.
