LAHORE: Cricketer Abid Ali reached the government Mian Mir Muhammed Hospital to take part in the ongoing polio campaign on Tuesday.
According to the details, cricketer Abid Ali actively participated in the polio campaign to eradicate the disease.
He encouraged the polio workers, taking the benefit of his presence, He said, “Everyone should cooperate with the polio workers.” He further stated, “Two drops of polio can save lives as they are mandatory.”
Abid Ali took a photo with the children during the polio campaign. The head of the polio campaign, Ramla Ali, was also seen along with him.
Speaking to the media, he said that he is totally self-determined and has almost recovered from heart disease, as he is taking part in the training sessions and playing practice matches and is hoping for a comeback in cricket again.
