Skocic excused as Iran mentor – IRNA

• Dragan Skocic has been excused as Iran lead trainer.
• With minimal over four months to go to the World Cup finals.
• In Qatar, Iran’s state news office IRNA wrote about Monday.

Skocic, adding that “there are unsubstantiated reports that few Iranian competitors have a decent opportunity to supplant Skocic”.

The move comes after Skocic, who took over from Marc Wilmots as mentor in February 2020, got the Iranians a spot at the World Cup by fixing their capability bunch in front of South Korea.
