Masood praised Arthur for bailing him out at a media appearance on Saturday in this city.
“Playing county cricket has given me a lot of exposure to be honest,” he told reporters. “I would like to thank Derbyshire and especially Mickey Arthur for believing in me and helping me out,” added Masood who got maiden T20I call-up in the national team following his superb run in the shorter format in recent times.

Masood is glad to get an opportunity to play for Pakistan in T20Is. “I am really excited and hopeful for a good return. It’s always a pleasure to represent Pakistan and performing is the second important thing,” the left-handed opener said.
The cricketer from Karachi normally bats first, but it appears that this time he will bat in the middle of the order.
The cricketer responded that he is not considering his batting number when asked about it.. “I am not think about my batting number. I am feasible to play at any number and perform for my team. I am waiting for my turn and give back to the expectations people have from me,” he concluded.
