SYDNEY: Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, and Virat Kohli, a batter, both gave Mohammad Irfan Junior high accolades.
Irfan Jr., a Western Suburb District player currently residing in Sydney, faced the Indian players in a net session at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
During the net session, the Indian players praised Irfan’s rapid bowling, and Rohit urged the Pakistani man to bowl more.
Even after becoming fit, the fast bowler was not selected for the T20 World Cup team due to fitness difficulties.
Irfan claimed that he bowled exceptionally well and is completely in rhythm when speaking about the session.
“Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli complimented me a lot and it felt really good,” he said, adding that he will participate in the net session tomorrow (Wednesday) as well.
The pacer has also played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Lahore Qalandars.
