According to recent reports, the multinational technology corporation Apple, headquartered in California, and the Spanish billionaire Amancio Ortega, the founder of the clothing brand Zara and the 19th richest man in the world, have both expressed interest in purchasing the illustrious English football club Manchester United.

According to a recent report, the largest technology company in the world has expressed interest in acquiring Manchester United from its current owners, the Glazers, in a transaction valued at approximately £5.8 billion.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ortega has “already spoken to Old Trafford executives” to express his interest in purchasing Manchester United. This information was provided by the newspaper.

After purchasing the Red Devils for the first time in 1992, an earlier report stated that the Glazer family has made the decision to put the club up for sale. This comes 17 years after the American family purchased the Red Devils. In 2005, the Glazer family purchased United, but they have since earned a reputation for being extremely unpopular. The club’s participation in the unsuccessful proposal for the European Super League and the subsequent criticism that followed was the event that tipped the scales in the club’s favor.

It was announced in a statement by Manchester United that the club’s owners were looking into “strategic alternatives,” and it is widely believed that they will sell the team to the highest bidder. According to an exclusive report by Daily Star Sport, the Glazers had initially set their asking price at £8.25 billion, but they have been told that this price is not realistic given the current market conditions.

The Daily Star reports that executives at Apple have indicated that they are interested in discussing the possibility of a deal to purchase United.

However, Apple has never owned a football club of United’s size before, and CEO Tim Cook is eager to investigate the possibilities that come with ownership of United, despite the fact that Apple has never done so before. He will organise conversations with the banks that have been tasked with supervising the transaction, one of which being The Raine Group.
