Champions League: Liverpool will play Real Madrid in the round of 16 as payback

• Liverpool and Real Madrid will square off in the last 16 of the Champions League
• The match will be the 10th and 11th encounters between the teams in history
• Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the French and German champions, will meet Bayern Munich in another interesting matchup

In the last 16 of the Champions League, which will be played in February and March 2023, last season’s finalists Liverpool and Real Madrid will square off. The English club will have the opportunity to revenge their loss in that game.

The first leg of the match will be held at Anfield by the Jurgen Klopp-led team, followed by the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu. The match will be the 10th and 11th encounters between the teams in history, and it will obviously be a rematch of last season’s championship game. Real Madrid won the 2021–22 European Championship by a score of 1-0 at the Stade de France in Saint–Denis, France.

Meanwhile, Manchester City has once again received a favourable matchup against the German team RB Leipzig, while Chelsea will play Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur will play Serie A winner AC Milan.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the French and German champions, will meet Bayern Munich in another interesting matchup. Eintracht Frankfurt will play Napoli, Club Brugge will play Benfica, and Inter Milan will play Porto in the other last-16 matches.

On February 14, 15, and 21, 22, there will be first leg encounters, while on March 7, 8, and 14, and 15, there will be second leg encounters.
