Australia has decided on their starting lineup for the Boxing Day Test matchup with South Africa.

As he continues to heal from a side strain, Josh Hazlewood is expected to miss another Test. Scott Boland, who won the Ashes last year, has kept his spot in the starting XI and is hoping to keep up his recent success.

Australia’s skipper Pat Cummins addressed the decision to choose Boland over Hazlewood in a press conference on Christmas morning.

“Joshy (Hazlewood) felt a little underdone more than anyone else, despite the fact that we gave him every opportunity.

“It really is a measure of the man because he kind of withdrew himself out of the selection process by saying, “Don’t feel quite right.”

“I think it’s another wonderful example of how (as) a team) we need a squad attitude,” the author said. Australia’s batting order remains the same as David Warner prepares to play in his 100th Test for his country. Usman Khawaja, a fellow left-hander, will be at his side, followed by Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, and Travis Head, Player of the Match in the first Test.
