Sanath Jayasuriya, dubbed “Master Blaster” and one of the all-time greatest batters, has a new position as the Brand Ambassador of the Lanka Premier League 2022. He now wants to give back to the sport and support the development of fresh players. He also serves as a mentor for the Kandy Falcons franchise.

Sanath Jayasuriya expressed his enthusiasm for the LPL’s current season and claimed that it will aid in discovering and fostering young potential. He stated: “This competition is a fantastic addition to the domestic cricket schedule and has unearthed some outstanding Sri Lankan talent. We have the perfect setting to identify and develop the top cricket talent. LPL is assisting the nation in increasing its T20I weaponry.

There will be many players from here on the Sri Lanka national team, and I think the team has a promising future.” Anil Mohan, Chairman and Managing Director of IPG Sports, the official promoter of LPL, said on the advantages of LPL 2022 “As seen by the enthusiastic audience members who regularly attend the matches, the event has had a favourable effect. The jubilant atmosphere throughout the games elevates the players’ spirits on the field and inspires them to give their best effort at all times.”

The batter explained how IPG helped organise the league by saying, “IPG put a lot of effort into putting this league together. The LPL is a very massive competition, and planning it is not simple. It is encouraging to see so many fans are entering the stadium. I’m hoping it becomes better and better.” The top-ranked Kandy Falcons have won five of their last six games.

When describing the group, he remarked, “The group has been doing incredibly well. Isuru and Wanindu, among other players, are giving it their all. We have a lot of talented young guys. The homegrown players are learning as they go along with playing alongside seasoned foreign stars.”

“Every time a player approaches me, I talk to them and offer advise. I am always there to assist them. They are continually seeking knowledge, which is beneficial since it makes you a better player “Finally, he said.
