Gerard Piqué makes an Instagram official relationship with Clara Chia Marti

• Gerard Piqué has debuted his girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, on social media.
• The couple met on the set of her music video.
• Shakira, 45, and Piqué, 35, announced their breakup in a joint statement June.

Gerard Piqué, Shakira’s ex, just revealed his relationship on social media. The former professional soccer player uploaded a selfie on Instagram on Wednesday showing him cuddling with Clara Chia Marti, 23. The picture was his first of Marti on his page, and there was no caption to go with it.

Shakira, 45, and Piqué, 35, shared a statement in June announcing their separation.

“We regret to confirm that we are separating,” the exes said at the time. “We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect.”

The former couple, who are parents to 10-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha, initially acknowledged their relationship in March 2011. They first connected while filming the music video for her song “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” which served as the FIFA World Cup 2010’s anthem.

Two weeks have passed since Shakira disparaged Piqué in her brand-new song, “BZRP Music Session #53,” which marks Piqué’s debut with Marti.

She sung in part, referencing her 2009 hit “She Wolf,” which was released just before the two met in 2010. “Sorry baby, I should have thrown you out a while ago / A she-wolf like me is not for rookies / A she-wolf like me is not for boys like you,” she crooned. “You’re too good for me because I’m too good for you,”
