PAK vs RWA: Pakistan thrashed Rwanda by 8 wickets in the first match of the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup on Sunday in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

The Green Shirts reached their target of 107 runs in 17.5 overs at the loss of two wickets.

Eyman Fatima was the star of the show, scoring a match-winning fifty.

Rwanda had previously amassed 106-8 in their stipulated 20 overs after winning the toss and opting to bat first.

Gisele Ishimwe, the captain, led the way with 40 runs in 49 balls and four boundaries.

Cynthia Tuyizere and Henriette Ishimwe, on the other hand, scored 20 and 14 runs, respectively.

With stats of 2-19 in four overs, Areesha Noor was Pakistan’s preferred bowler.

One wicket apiece was taken by Syeda Aroob Shah, Anosha Nasir, and Zamina Tahir.
