In Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8, Karachi Kings have arrived in Multan to compete in their first away game.

The Kings’ team arrived in Multan to play their debut game in the city of saints, as reported by the franchise.

The whole victorious team from last night’s match against the Lahore Qalandars has arrived in Multan, with the exception of bowler Muhammad Amir.

Amir will be absent from Kings’ upcoming play on February 22 against Multan Sultans in Multan due to a groyne injury sustained during last night’s match in Karachi.

The bowler will receive treatment in an effort to get ready for Kings’ team’s upcoming home game against Multan Sultans on February 26.

In as many PSL 8 games, Amir has taken four wickets at an economy rate of 7.64.

Kings secured their first win in PSL 8 on Sunday by defeating Qalandars by a score of 67 runs.

When Kings were given the opportunity to bat first, they set a challenging 186-run goal before dismissing Qalandars for 118 runs in 17.3 overs.

Imad Wasim, the captain, struck in his final over after Akif Javed grabbed two wickets to give Kings the upper hand over Qalandars.

Tahir Baig and Kamran Ghulam dominated the run-chase after Aamer Yamin and Amir handed the Kings two early victories.

Nevertheless, the young bowler Akif, who was sent in to fill in for an injured Mir Hamza, hit twice in his third over, sending the two batters back to the pavilion and setting his team up for victory.

On March 19, the PSL 8 final and closing ceremony will take place in Lahore, which will also serve as the site of the playoffs.
