CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah launches province’s first-ever SPL
Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, established the first-ever Sindh Premier League (SPL).
Shah stated at a launching ceremony in Karachi on Tuesday that the SPL will provide cricketers from Sindh with an excellent opportunity.
“SPL is about more than just sports; it also promotes the talent and potential of our youth, gives them opportunities to succeed, and shows off Sindh’s best. He added, “It is also a platform for our province’s economic development, job creation, and tourism promotion.”
The provincial Minister of Information, Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Minister of Labor, Saeed Ghani, the Advisor of Law, Murtaza Murtaza Wahab, and the former Pakistan captain, Sarfraz Ahmed, attended the launch event.
Arif Malik, president of the SPL, spoke at this event about the league’s special player development program for players, especially those from Interior Sindh. In addition, he disclosed that 10,000 new jobs will be created as a result of the SPL’s upcoming broadcast in 52 nations.
Benazirabad Lals, Hyderabad Bahadurs, Karachi Ghazis, Larkana Challengers, Mirpurkhas Tigers, and Sukkur Patriots are the six teams in the league.
