The Green Shirts have been phenomenal in the past two games, clinching the series 2-0 with one more game to go. The national squad will look to clean sweep the visitors while West Indies will try every possible way to keep themselves from losing.

Since the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019, Pakistan has been in top form, winning five of the last six series. Babar Azam, the all-format skipper, was among a few players who established his name in this time period. The world’s number 1 ODI batsman has broken many records and claimed many ICC awards.

The 28-year-old has been spectacular during the home ODI series against Australia. He bagged 276 runs, including a fifty and ton back-to-back tons, with a strike rate of 102.76. He was awarded the title of Player of the Series for his phenomenal performance.

The Green Shirts are currently at the fourth spot in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League points table with 80 points. They started at the tenth spot at the beginning of the series and have grabbed 20 points so far. They have won eight of fourteen matches played with the net run rate of +0.0022.

On the other hand, the Caribbeans have been poorly performing this year. They lost 3-0 against India in the ODI series earlier this year. They will look to win the final ODI against Pakistan to keep hopes for directly qualifying for the ICC Cricket World Cup alive. West Indies is just behind the Green Shirts with 80 points and a net run rate of -0.807.

The top eight teams will advance directly to the 2023 World Cup scheduled to begin from October next year in India.

With the last ODI just hours away, Pakistan is the favorite to win the match with Babr Azam expected to continue his batting form. Although the West Indies’ Sai Hope has not performed well with the bat in Friday’s game, he is still the favorite to score more runs in the last game.
