One of the new features that Apple introduced to the iPad with iOS 14, a new way of multitasking.

According to the details, iPhones running iOS 14 will borrow the multitasking layout currently used by iPads.

Now it looks like Apple could be thinking about taking that feature and bringing it to the iPhone in iOS 14.

Or that’s what seems suggested according to a recent video.

This video shared on Twitter by leakster Ben Geskin, who has in the past been pretty accurate with his leaks.

It shows that with iOS 14, Apple could adopt a different approach to multitasking on iPhones.

Although whether or not there will be any functional changes remains to be seen.

Or whether or not it is purely for aesthetic purposes.

However, Geskin does seem to note that it is possible for users to pin an app to the multitasking screen.

He also unable to confirm if the iPhone could also get side-by-side Split View multitasking, a feature found on the iPad and something that many users have asked for.

A more robust multitasking system is something iOS users have been asking for, and a feature that can be found on many Android devices.

Maybe this new multitasking design could be a sign of things to come.

But we’ll probably have to wait for all the official details.
