After Pakistan has announced new regulatory guidelines to govern social media in the country, Tech companies threaten Pakistan to leave if the new rules are enforced on them.

It’s been only a day that the government of Pakistan has announced the regulatory rules important how social media will be controlled in Pakistan, after the statement the technology companies worry about their survival in Pakistan the companies said that the regulations would make it difficult for them to continue their operations in the country.

In a statement shared with Local News on Thursday, the Asia Internet Coalition (AIC) expressed its concerns over the scope of the new law targeting internet companies, as well as the government’s “opaque process” by which these rules were developed.
