Meta is creating an avatar store, and the first items are designer outfits

Recently Meta creating an avatar store and also CEO Mark Zuckerberg said additional businesses would be featured shortly in a Facebook post.

He says, “Digital goods will be an important way to express yourself in the metaverse and a big driver of the creative economy.”

To produce branded digital clothes, luxury design brands are increasingly collaborating with technological companies. Fortnite debuted Balenciaga skins last year, allowing users to buy branded hoodies for their in-game avatars. Players may visit Gucci Town in Roblox, which has a garden with the brand’s emblem and a virtual store.

Despite the high-profile participants in Meta’s debut with avatar store, the news was quietly announced this afternoon, and the business did not immediately reply to a request for further information.
