GPUs shortage ends globally

GPUs have been difficult to obtain for PC gamers for nearly two years. To buy an AMD or Nvidia graphics card recently, you had to be lucky, rich, patient, or highly skilled, but the lengthy wait is now over.

Nvidia’s RTX GPUs are finally available at MSRP on Best Buy and other retailers. The Pakistani market will soon get normal-priced graphics cards.

Per-GPU Cost

The RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition was still available at its $599 MSRP eight hours after Best Buy’s weekly reduction, according to The Verge. On the website, the RTX 3070 Founders Edition was also available for $499. These weren’t just fortuitous catches; these cards were still available for the same price the next morning.

This contains both the standard RTX 3070 Ti and the 3070 FE. The Radeon RX 6750 XT, 6900 XT, and 6950 XT are also available for MSRP on AMD’s website. The same is true for eBay, which now has the RTX 3080 listed for roughly $700, the same price that Nvidia guaranteed at launch.

The recent crypto market fall is one of the key causes behind this trend. GPUs used in mining have been sold by miners for extremely low prices, sometimes even below cost. Consequently, the market has been stabilized as the depleted supply of GPUs has been recovered to some degree.

Additionally, most individuals are still waiting for market conditions to improve and for newer, better GPUs to arrive, which has dampened demand for GPUs. Intel is due to showcase its own desktop GPUs soon and Nvidia is also slated to release the RTX 4000 series later this year. This is likely to bring down prices for practically all GPUs across the globe.

Better late than never, it is safe to state that the global GPU scarcity has officially resolved at long last.
