Most Redmi K series phones are sold under different names in different parts of the world. Some of them join the Poco F series, but others join Xiaomi’s main flagship lineup. We expect the Redmi K50 Ultra to be in the latter group.

The Redmi K50 Ultra is a combination of the Redmi K50 Pro and the Redmi K50 Gaming. It was just released in China. A new tweet from tipster Kacper Skrzypek says that the flagship phone is likely to come out on the international market as the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

Google Play’s list of supported devices has just been updated to include a new phone with the model number 22081212 and the codename “diting.” This shows that the phone is real. This is probably the Xiaomi 12T Pro, which is the Redmi K50 Ultra for the rest of the world. The main camera setup of the phone is similar to that of Xiaomi’s 12 series phones, which makes sense now.

On August 11, the Mix Fold 2 and the Redmi K50 Ultra were both released. The Redmi K50 Ultra is a cheap flagship phone. It only costs $445 in China, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers it. It has a 6.67-inch, 120Hz AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, HDR10+, 12-bit colours, and Dolby Vision support. Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage are available.

The main camera has a main sensor with 108MP, an ultrawide camera with 8MP, and a macro sensor with 2MP. The camera for taking selfies is 20MP. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, and it can be charged very quickly with 120W.

The source says that it will have the same specs everywhere, but there will only be one 8GB/256GB memory configuration. It is also likely to cost more than the Chinese version, and it may come out at the same time as the Xiaomi 12T in October.
