Fortnite Chapter Four map, weapons, and Geralt of Rivia guide

Fortnite Chapter Four has arrived, and it introduces some significant changes to the battle royale sim—for better or worse.

After a brief hiatus on December 4, Chapter 4 is back up and running with a whole new Island to explore.

It has several medieval-themed landmarks, such as The Citadel, Anvil Square, and Brutal Bastion.

The way players can move across the map has also been changed. You can roll around in a snowball, hurdle or slide past obstacles, and even gather your crew and smash up the map on dirt bikes.

Reality Augments are one of the most significant new additions to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. These act as a random perk system that can increase a player’s chances of winning. Each match has 22 Reality Augments, which grant you skills ranging from greater ammo magazines to health regeneration.

Reality Augments are distributed to players at random throughout the game. A symbol shows below the minimap, along with a button prompt, to alert players.

As is customary, a slew of new battle pass characters will be available, including Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher.

Finally, thanks to an Unreal Engine 5 update, Chapter 4 Season 1 now has some new visual updates, which gamers have praised as a great facelift to the game’s cartoony look.
