Apple set to launch iPhone SE 4 with iPhone 14 design & affordable price
Apple is gearing up to kick off its 2025 product lineup with the highly anticipated iPhone SE 4. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is expected to introduce the new device in the coming days, with an official announcement likely next week.
Unlike previous launches, Apple will forgo a dedicated event and instead unveil the iPhone SE 4 via a press release, making it available for purchase later this month at a starting price of $499.
With inventory levels of the iPhone SE (2022) running low at Apple retail stores, indications suggest that a new model is on the way. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be a significant step forward for Apple, as it may become the first iPhone to feature an in-house cellular modem, reducing dependence on Qualcomm’s components.
The new model will adopt the iPhone 14’s design, featuring a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a notch and a similar button layout. This marks a notable shift from the previous iPhone SE, which retained the older iPhone 8-style design with thick bezels and a home button.
Apple is set to equip the iPhone SE 4 with a single 48MP main camera, a major upgrade from the 12MP shooter found in its predecessor. Powered by the A18 chipset and 8GB of RAM, the device will support Apple Intelligence features, delivering improved performance.
In line with new European Union regulations, Apple will replace the Lightning port with a USB-C connector, ensuring compliance with mandated charging standards for electronic devices.
With a refreshed design, upgraded specs, and regulatory compliance, the iPhone SE 4 is shaping up to be a strong addition to Apple’s entry-level lineup. While Apple has not officially confirmed the details, all signs point to an imminent launch.
