Yesterday, Heavy rain lashed several parts of Karachi as another spell of monsoon hit the city, localities and roads of different areas were submerged by rainwater.
Drainage water ran over the roads as drainage and sanitation systems are poor.
The city’s drainage canals cannot handle all the drainage after heavy rain falls.
Dirt coming out from the drainage canals have increased the probability of severe deceases.
District administration has yet not taken any measures after the last rain spell, which almost drowned all of the metropolis.
