TEEN MOM fans are in disbelief as they try to deal with Mackenzie Edwards’ new unrecognisable appearance.

Fans compared her drastic makeover, which she proudly debuted last week, to a cleaning tool after she was initially chastised for “copying” Chelsea Houska.

Mackenzie, 25, became embroiled in internet squabbles over her new hairstyle.

The Teen Mom OG alum recently shared a video on Instagram of her transformation from a light blonde to a dark brunette.

Throughout the video, the ex-MTV star smiled and played with her wavy dark hair.

Fans flocked to Reddit days after Mackenzie shared the video to point out that Ryan Edwards’ wife resembles another franchise star, Chelsea, 30.

“Is she attempting to be Chelsea?” one fan wondered at the time.

Since then, a Reddit thread titled “both are likely flammable” with a side-by-side comparison of the look to a similarly coloured broom has received some more low swipes.

“”Wait… was this… on purpose?!” one user wondered, while another added, “Definitely.” A bizarre influencer trend.”

Teen Mom alums are known to frequently branch out from the show into Instagram presences, with The Sun previously exclusively revealing that Mackenzie landed a job in marketing and has launched her own fitness business.

“I hate the way her ends look,” mocked another.

Another person said the hair color made her “look 45,” while one added: “It’s baffling she’s still in her early 20s. Life with Ryan is aging her badly.”
