They split up as teenagers because they were in “different places in life.”

Despite the fact that Jordan Hales was pregnant with another man’s child at the time, she and her ex-boyfriend reconnected several years later.

Jordan took to TikTok to share her unconventional path to her happily ever after.

She captioned a video of herself and her son, “Me: 20 weeks pregnant & single, wondering how I’m going to raise a baby by myself.”

“‘Would you like to go on a date with my ex-high school boyfriend?'”

Just one month later, the couple was engaged, and they wasted no time in walking down the aisle a few weeks later.

Jordan’s video continued to show wedding photos, including her wearing a stunning white gown that clung to her baby bump and her other half being by her side when she gave birth.

It ended with photos from a professional photoshoot of Jordan, her husband, and her son.

She captioned her video, “How we became a family!”

Someone asked Jordan in the comments section why she and her now-husband had split up in high school, to which she replied, “He graduated a year before me & we were just in different places in life!” There’s nothing wrong with that.”

“You were meant to find your way back to each other,” someone else said.

“I know someone else who met the love of their life at six months pregnant!” said another. They married about a year later.”

Jordan explained in another video on her page that she and her husband refer to their wedding as a “shotgun wedding” for comedic effect, but that they married because they were in love.

“My explanation that I got married at 6 months pregnant not in a “shotgun wedding” yeehaw, ‘kind of way,” she wrote, “but in a ‘we’re in love and don’t want to wait to be married’ kind of way.”
