A TikTok video showing a bunch of alligators reacting to a lady stating “he’s large” has gone viral, leaving the internet in stitches.

Morgan16 22’s TikTok video has earned over 2.9 million views and over 638,000 likes since it was released at the beginning of March.

At the beginning of the video, a bunch of alligators can be seen making hissing noises in the water below. “Oh wow,” one individual can be heard saying, followed by “He’s enormous, too.”

The alligators then all gaze in the same direction at the same time, as if reacting to the woman’s remark.

Alligators have been found to respond to human speech, according to John Brueggen, director of the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park in Florida.

Brueggen, who works with the park’s 24 crocodilians, stated: “I believe these creatures spotted something, such as a feeding bucket or a fish on a line, and that is what caused them all to wake up at the same time…

Every day, we witness alligators respond to our voice signals. They are clever creatures that are quite simple to educate.”

Similarly, Lindsey Lawson, who oversees a reptile breeding enterprise across the United States, told Newsweek that these alligators are clearly accustomed to being fed by people.

“The response visible in this video is the consequence of some kind of stimulation to the left of the person filming. Due to the short view of the video, it is impossible to say for definite what produced the reaction, but it is probably a visual or aural stimulation in the shape of a known food source “She stated.

While all alligators react, a person can be seen swimming to the left in the video’s right centre, according to Lawson.

“Though the bigger alligator appears to be gazing straight at the lady filming after she made a statement, an alligator’s eyes are on the sides of its head, giving them a broad visual range and great peripheral vision. While facing her directly, he has a great perspective of what’s going on off to the left “She stated.

Although it is unclear where the viral video was shot, alligators may be found all throughout the United States. They are found across the southeast and as far north as North Carolina. They are very common in Florida and Louisiana.

According to social media users who commented on the video, the alligators looked to be offended by the woman’s remarks.

“THEY GOT SO OFFENDED,” Daniavilla4 remarked. “Oh no, the way he stared at you,” remarked another TikTok user, kaylebowens08.

“They were like, ‘hey…been he’s monitoring his weight,'” says one. Nashgrierfan23 penned a message.

Ladybryght speculated that they may have interpreted the remark positively: “They aren’t upset at all. They’re all curious to find out which of them is the biggest “wrote the TikTok user.

@TEXASTITTIE, a Twitter user, uploaded the video, stating, “There’s no way animals can’t comprehend us, I’m sorry.”
