THIS is the terrifying moment a tipper truck slams into a police cruiser in broad daylight – before policemen are able to LOSE it.

Officers had come to a halt in Stockwell, South London, while the damaged black Ford Transit drove recklessly.

However, when the officers urgently sought to flee, the enraged motorist slammed into the patrol car.

As astonished passers-by exclaim “woah,” footage shows the autos collision forcefully.

As the lorry hurtles backwards, a mom and her two children can be seen barely feet from from the automobiles.

The motorist then flees, leaving the patrol car in a jumbled mess.

“Good morning Brixton,” read the description on the video, which was released online on Easter Sunday.

Brick Cop, a Twitter account, later claimed to have heard from the police car’s driver.

“Apart from being a bit sore, [he’s] in high spirits,” a post wrote.

Following the event on April 15, the Met announced they are still looking for the driver.

Two cops were also hurt, with one being rushed to the hospital with head and hand wounds.

The vehicle has the name of a garbage disposal and removals company, but there is no indication that the owner was engaged.

On March 9, a Facebook message stated: “This car has been sold for seven months. It isn’t registered with us anymore.”

The previous owner went on to say that he had received several instances of the identical vehicle being used for fly-tipping in South London.

Any witnesses should contact the authorities, according to the shop owner.

Following the release of video of the Stockwell collision, he stated police had been at his home to conduct an investigation.

LORRY DRAMA

Anyone who spotted a yellow and black tipper truck with a smashed mirror is asked to contact the Metropolitan Police Department.

They think the registration is FA04 UZW, despite the fact that the F is missing from the rear number plate.

According to a statement: “Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a tipper truck that collided with a police cruiser in Lambeth on Friday.

“Officers in a marked police car at Landor Road, Stockwell, signalled for a yellow and black Ford Transit tipper lorry to stop at around 10:50 a.m. on Friday, April 15th.

“This was a normal traffic stop that was started due to the driver’s behaviour and car damage.

“Instead of coming to a halt, the vehicle sped up and slammed into the bonnet.

“One officer required hospital treatment for injuries to his head and hand but has since been discharged. A second officer was assessed at the scene by paramedics.

“Following the crash, a search of the region was conducted, but the vehicle could not be found. An inquiry is underway to find out what happened and who was involved.”
