On our WEDDING DAY, I found my husband cheating with a coworker — he took her to our new house, which I had paid for
THERE’S A REASON why the adage “always follow your intuition” is so popular.
When you have a nasty feeling in your gut about a situation, it usually means that something else is going on, as was the case with one woman who was getting married.
The woman revealed in a video that she was becoming dubious in the days building up to her wedding day.
“I simply didn’t feel comfortable about things, like’something isn’t right,'” she explained.
She claimed that she and her fiance had recently spent more time with his coworkers and that there was “something just not right” about her fiance’s friendship with one of his female coworkers.
When she questioned her fiance if something was wrong, he labelled her “crazy” and told her they needed to postpone their wedding, which was in five days, since she didn’t trust him enough.
The woman was taken by surprise by her fiance, and she stated that she felt her “whole life was coming apart” at the time.
Her family and wedding counsellors were certain that nothing was wrong, but the lady stated, “I’m like, ‘there’s something that’s not right,’ I just felt it, I knew.”
Because the woman’s boyfriend claimed she was the reason they weren’t getting married, the couple chose to stay together and postpone their wedding while they “established trust.”
It turned out that the woman’s gut instinct that something was awry was correct.
On the day they were scheduled to marry, the lady arrives into the house she had purchased for them and discovers her fiance in a precarious predicament.
For background, the woman stated that she was still living with her parents while her fiance lived in the new house until their wedding day, but she was the one who paid the down payment while her boyfriend did not.
As a result, when she walked in on her fiance naked in the living room, he was taken aback.
The woman then discovered her fiance’s coworker, who was also married, putting on his clothes in the bedroom.
To make matters worse, the lady claimed that her boyfriend had purchased a $500k life insurance policy on her while he was cheating.
It took the lady nearly a year to reclaim her home from her ex-fiance, who had a DIFFERENT female coworker move in with him at the time.
Looking back on the incident, the woman stated that she has developed much since then.
“Through that experience, I’ve learnt a lot about myself, I’ve changed a lot… but I’m a lot better today than I was,” she stated.
People in the comments section were eager to express their support for the woman, with one writing, “It was a horrific experience, but wow did you dodge a bullet.”
