A Korean YouTuber was sexually harassed while live streaming in Mumbai’s Khar neighbourhood. On the busy street, a man tried to forcefully take her hand and kiss her. The entire incident was recorded on video. In the footage, a man is seen tugging the woman by the hand and begging her to ride on his bike. She declines, visibly embarrassed, and tries to explain that it’s because she’s wearing a dress. He continues to try to kiss her, but she resists.
Aditya, a Twitter user, tagged the Mumbai Police Department and stated, “A streamer from Korea was harassed by these boys in Khar last night while she was live streaming in front of a 1000+ people. This is disgusting and some action needs to be taken against them. This cannot go unpunished .” The cops responded to the tweet by asking for more information. According to the media report, two males were later apprehended in the incident.

Mobeen Chand Mohammad Shaikh and Mohammad Naqeeb Sadrealam Ansari were the two young men arrested by the Khar Police on suspicion of molesting a woman.
The streamer, Mhyochi, has since spoken out about the event. “Last night on stream, there was a guy who harassed me. I tried my best not to escalate the situation and leave because he was with his friend. And some people said that it was initiated by me being too friendly and engaging the conversation. Makes me think again about streaming ” she penned a letter.
