Bill Gates, a co-founder of Microsoft, was spotted travelling in an electric auto rickshaw while visiting India, and a video of the incident has since gone viral online.

The video was posted by the billionaire on his Instagram account. He can be seen in the opening of the video watching himself in the rearview mirror. “What has three wheels, produces no emissions, and is silent? Its brand name is Mahindra Treo “reads the captions above the video’s text. He adds, “We’re going to need to reinvent the way we do everything from agriculture to transportation to get on the road to a zero-carbon emissions world,” while also emulating some aspects of the three-wheeler.

The billionaire, dressed appropriately in a suit and tie, navigated various roads. Mr. Gates appeared to be enjoying driving the electric car based on his facial expressions. It’s interesting that the song “Babu Samjho Ishare” from the movie “Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi” is featured in the video.

The philanthropist wrote as the post’s caption: “India has an unwavering passion for innovation. I operated an electric rickshaw that could travel up to 131 km (81 miles) and hold up to 4 passengers. It is encouraging to see how businesses like Mahindra are assisting in the transportation sector’s carbon reduction.”
