The UAE plans to launch treasury bonds designed for individual investors to widen investment options. Younis Haji Al Khoori, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, stated that the aim is to increase investment opportunities for a wider range of investors, including regular individuals.

This initiative seeks to offer additional savings alternatives beyond conventional options such as real estate, stocks, or bank deposits. Al Khoori explained that the schedule for releasing individual bonds is still undetermined, with the current emphasis on issuing treasury bonds every six weeks in partnership with the UAE Central Bank.
