A New York City eatery is selling the world’s most expensive French fries for $200. (Rs 15,257). You might be wondering how any restaurant can charge that much for French fries.
The truth is that these fries aren’t average, but they do fall under the category of luxury cuisine. The materials used to produce these fries are flown in from all over the world, and they’re finished off with edible gold flakes, making them even more costly.
Serendipity restaurant in New York City claims the Guinness World Record for the ‘most costly French Fries’ with its ‘Crème de la Crème Pommes Frites.’ On its official Instagram page, Guinness World Records posted a video showing how the french fries are prepared. With over 24k likes, the video has gone viral.
