Fevicol brings back an old idea to ‘royally’ insult Boris Johnson
Following a slew of resignations from his ministries, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his resignation on Thursday. He entered 10 Downing Street three years ago, and now this has happened.
He has been trending worldwide since the announcement, and social media is overrun with posts. Even Fevicol joined in the celebration by posting an old piece of artwork about Boris’s departure, which is obviously getting a lot of attention online.
In order to express their opinions on the political drama that was playing out in the UK, Fevicol rewired an old creative that they had shared in 2020.
The statement on the post stated, “Dear Royal Family, Kohinoor nahi, Fevicol le jaana chahiye that (You should have taken Fevicol instead of the Kohinoor)” and featured a picture of the British monarchy’s royal crown.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, the adhesive brand first shared the design.
The text of the telegram stated, “Fevicol hot to suss-ex na hota aur parivaar atoot rehta (The family would not have broken)”. Fevicol turned the idea on its head and captioned the same post, “(Bor)iss baar hum phirse kahenge…(we will say this again)”.
