Today, Arctic Monkeys released a new album (October 21).

The English rock group, which has generated huge songs like I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor and When The Sun Goes Down since their inception back in 2002, has now released their eighth studio album, The Car.

The band will visit stadiums across Europe and North America as part of a tour in support of the new record.

Lead vocalist Alex Turner recently explained the meaning behind the title of their most recent album to Zane Lowe in an Apple Music 1 interview: “There’s a few tracks on here in which I say the two words, ‘The Car,'” he said. I believe it has happened maybe three or four times.

“I was like, “I’m either going to have to change some of them or just double down and call it the whole thing.'”

The frontman is also the principal songwriter of the band, who have now made their return four years after their last album was released.

Currently, French singer-songwriter Louise Verneuil and Alex Turner are dating.

The couple initially came into public view in 2018 while Turner’s band was on tour in support of their album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.

After six years in the UK, Turner made the decision to return home with Louise in 2020 so that she could be closer to France. This was followed by Turner leaving Los Angeles.

Last month, The Guardian reported that the couple is still together and that Turner and the 33-year-old French national split their time between London and Paris.

Turner was well-known for dating a number of other accomplished women before his relationship with Louise, including British model Alexa Chung, American actress Arielle Vandenberg, and US model Taylor Bagley.
