The weather forecast for parts of Sindh, including Karachi, predicts rainfall of varying intensities over the next few days. Thursday evening/night is expected to have partly cloudy weather in the port city, with scattered light rains anticipated on Friday and Saturday. The maximum temperature will range from 35-37 degrees Celsius, while the relative humidity will remain above 60 percent.

Meteorological experts explain that moist currents from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper and central regions of the country, and monsoon incursions from the Bay of Bengal are reaching these areas as well. Additionally, an atmospheric disturbance known as a westerly wave is impacting the upper and central parts of the country.

Based on these prevailing weather conditions, rain, wind, and thundershowers are expected in Dadu, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Ghotki, and surrounding areas on Thursday evening/night. The rest of the province will experience mainly hot and humid weather.

On July 7 and July 8 (Friday and Saturday), Sukkur, Jacobabad, Ghotki, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Mithi, Chhor, Padidan, Nagarparkar, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Dadu, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad, and Karachi can expect rain, wind, and thundershowers, with isolated heavy falls. The meteorological department has cautioned that these heavy bursts of rain could lead to urban flooding in low-lying areas of major cities.

Furthermore, high-velocity winds and wet conditions may cause damage to loose structures such as electric poles and solar panels. The general public is advised to seek shelter in safe places during this period. The agricultural community is advised to consider the weather forecast when planning their farming activities.
