According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Karachi is under the influence of a western wind system, bringing intermittent rain and strong winds to various parts of the city.

Light to moderate showers accompanied by gusty winds have been reported in areas including Metroville, SITE, Baldia, and surrounding neighborhoods.

The rain-bearing system is expected to affect several regions of Sindh until March 29 with scattered showers predicted across Karachi and other cities.

The PMD has warned residents to prepare for occasional heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds throughout the day.

A brief pause in rainfall is expected on March 27, but showers are likely to return on March 28 and 29. Some areas may experience thunderstorms alongside gusty winds.

Authorities have urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain and wind.
