Former Vice President Joe Biden has said that the United States will send a medium-range missile system to Ukraine to discourage Russia’s advances.

The president of the United States said on Monday that the United States “will not send missiles into Russia that could hit Ukraine.”

However, as Vladimir Putin’s army advanced into the Donbas, it was decided to supply the HIMARS system with high-capacity artillery missiles, unless Ukraine uses it for cross-border attacks. According to civil servants, the system is $ 700 million (55 million pounds) for American helicopters, anti-tank weapons, tactics, spare parts, and spare parts.

The decision offers the White House hopes to provide a luxury missile system, hopes to balance Ukraine to prevent artillery, and will not provide weapons that can be increased in the war.

In an essay for a guest published in the New York Times, Biden confirmed that “Ukrainians have decided to provide an advanced system of missiles and ammunition that will allow them to target more precisely key targets on the Ukrainian battlefield.”

Any weapons system can fire if Russia is close to its borders.

The aid package announced on Wednesday will send a medium-range missile to the United States, which can usually travel about 45 miles. High-ranking officials, who requested anonymity before the official statement, said Ukraine was confident that US officials would not launch missiles into Russia.

But they said the system would provide the Ukrainian army with precision when targeting Russian assets in Ukraine. Ukraine is expected to be able to use missiles in the eastern Donbas region, capture Russian artillery and occupy Russian positions in war-torn cities such as Severodonetsk.

Sevedonetsk is at the center of Russia’s attempt to occupy the Donbas before Western weapons arrive to bolster Ukraine’s defenses. Ninety miles south of the Russian border, the city is the last land owned by Ukrainians in the Luhansk region of Donbas.

“We do not demand or allow Ukraine to attack beyond its borders,” former Biden Vice President wrote to the New York Times. We do not want to prolong a war that damages Russia.”

“The use of any nuclear weapon in this conflict will have serious consequences.”

He also used the essay as a warning to the Putin regime to allay fears about a nuclear attack. “I know a lot of people around the world are worried about the use of nuclear weapons,” he said.

“I realize right now that Russia has no intention of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, but Russia’s investigation into the use of nuclear weapons is dangerous and very irresponsible,” he said. “I want to make it clear that the use of nuclear weapons in this conflict will have absolutely uncomfortable and serious consequences for us and for the world.”

The missile system will become part of the Pentagon’s Disarmament Agency, so weapons must be taken out of US stocks and delivered to Ukraine as soon as possible.

The Ukrainian army also needs training for the new system, which will last at least a week or two. HIMARS is mounted on a truck and can carry a container with six missiles.

The Army’s missile tactical system, which is capable of firing medium-range missiles and has a range of about 190 miles, but is not included in the plan, is capable of launching long-range missiles. Germany’s announcement to provide Ukraine with modern missile and anti-aircraft radar systems comes amid growing criticism that Berlin is not enough to protect the country from invading forces.

Since the beginning of the war in February, the United States and its allies have tried to narrow the path by sending weapons to Ukraine to fight Russia, but have cut off support for Putin, causing the conflict to spread elsewhere in European.
